In the worst affected areas of Mehabubnagar, Vijayawada and Bijapur, World Vision India is responding to more than 8000 families by distributing essential relief materials like biscuits, water, bread and cooked rice.
Non food family packs including basic essentials for cooking, clothing and mosquito nets are also distributed and more relief measures are being planned. World Vision is preparing fast to cater the need of 25,000 families and looking at 15 days to 1 month presence in the flooded areas"
