We have been sponsoring children through World Vision for a few years. We have always wanted to meet them to let them know how special they are to us. We enjoyed the picturesque ride through the villages and the interesting conversation we had with the staff. We met some of our sponsored children and their families benefitted through World Vision.

It was like they were waiting for us and there was so much excitement! They warmly invited us to their house. We were tired after a long day of visiting our sponsored children but we were glowing with what we had experienced the whole day. We found our sponsored children to be well-cared for, happy and their parents proud of them. The staff at World Vision in each village treated the children and their families with a lot of respect and were filled with joy for what they do. What a glorious day it was for us!

I think the visit itself was a very rare collection of memories that helped me to bond well with the child. The energy of the volunteers at the visit centre was tremendous. This is how we get satisfaction-by knowing that somewhere someone is living a better life is incomparable to any other joy.

It feels good to know that somebody cares about you and loves you in return. Sowmya read to me in Tamil and also a poem in English. There are several social issues to be tackled. When you team up with sponsorship, you not only get to have a personal relationship with the child, but also play an important role in impacting the lives of the rest of the community.

I want her to come up in life so that someday she would be able to help others. This is a very special day in my life Child sponsorship not only benefits the community but also gives you the good feeling that you have impacted someone’s life. This was one of the greatest moments of my life, which I will truly cherish. I am very grateful to God for this. She showed me her drawings and all the Kannada words that she had written. Although we were miles apart, the feeling that she will always be part of our little family gives us immense joy. We left the place with immense joy and peace, knowing that through World Vision’s programmes many lives have been changed. Now, people have better living conditions and access to good literacy programmes, better medical facilities and clean water.

It was indeed a great experience to visit Sudha at Perambalur. My family and I were touched by the warm reception we were given by the project people and especially the small kids.

Our visit to Perambalur will serve as a milestone in our life and it has definitely enthused us to work and do more with World Vision India.

I wanted this to be the best birthday yet. We were so happy to see Revati who had come to meet us with her mother. She seemed so shy and innocent. I asked Revati what she likes and then gave her the doll I had brought. She was delighted because she is fond of playing with dolls…The happiness and joy on her face was so touching…

I was so satisfied with the feedback they gave me as to how the organization works and how they contribute to society by catering to each individual’s needs and making them independent so that they can work and earn and live a good healthy life. I then realized how my small help made a big difference to society as a whole.
