Mini was hardly eight when she lost her parents and was sent off by her relatives to work in a house, far away from her hometown.
Alone and friendless in a strange town, Mini endured harshness, beatings and hunger. Worst of all, she was never paid.
She desperately wanted to leave her job, but she had no choice, as she had no one to care for her or help her.
Mini’s life at the age of eight was the life of a slave…until someone reached out a helping hand to her.
