Mounesha is a confident
boy. “ I want to help people in need. I want to become a police officer” he says with a quiet smile.
Mounesha’s father earns his daily wages by ironing clothes on a pushcart. His mother too
helps him in the business. “ I want my children to study as much as I can.” Says his mother,
Nagamma.
Thanks to child sponsorship, Mounesha can continue
this education. His dreams too are well within his reach.
Through his child sponsor’s
support, Mounesha now has access to education, better health care and development. He also received
books, school bags and other school supplies from World Vision. Mounesha is also part of the
children’s club run by World Vision. The children meet regularly to learn their rights, importance
of education and good manners and are taught to face life with confidence.
Mounesha’s family

improve his business.
His mother , Nagamma, is the secretary of the community-based
organization in there are. “It gives me satisfaction in helping others in need.” she says.
