6-year-old Vasantha lives in a severely damaged mud house with her mother Mallamma, and grandmother Hanumama, in a slum in Bangalore. During heavy rains, the house leaks and water floods inside, making living conditions extremely unsafe, especially for the children and the aged grandmother. Mallamma is the sole breadwinner, struggling to support her family. Her husband, Mallappa, is differently abled and lives separately with no income. Hanumama takes care of Vasantha and her sibling at home while Mallamma works to make ends meet. The family urgently needs assistance to renovate their home and create a safe, dry space to live in.
