As the country fights the second wave of COVID-19,

World Vision India will immediately support 93 hospitals by providing oxygen concentrators and upgrading the facilities with needed cots, beds and medical equipment, thereby strengthening the Government health systems. We will also partner with other agencies to scale up the response and reach more hospitals.

World Vision India’s response will mainly focus on

·       Strengthening health care systems

providing oxygen concentrators at the block and district level to 93 health care centres/ hospitals; this can be scaled up to 150 facilities.

-   providing beds, tents, temporary structures and helping the Government set up COVID care centres (could be doubled as vaccination centres in the future) within the primary health centre and district hospital premises.

·       Providing psycho-social support through trained community volunteers

·       Creating awareness around vaccination, making it accessible to all and enabling them to avail it

·       Strengthening community preparedness to deal with the surge of COVID-19

The need is enormous. Help us respond immediately. Rush your support.

Together, let’s help vulnerable children and families during this difficult time.

I want to rush my help towards drought.
