Cyclone Fani, the extremely severe cyclonic storm has affected around 11 districts in Odisha.

Odisha government’s commendable efforts have saved the lives of lakhs of people. However, the strong winds have destroyed thousands of hectares of crops and there has been severe loss of livestock. Many of the fishermen’s boats are damaged. Due to the loss of livelihood, there is fear of people migrating to find other means of income – which would severely affect children and women. Many children are worried that they may not be able to go to school because the roofs of many schools been blown away by the strong winds.

World Vision India will provide the affected families with immediate needs such as dry ration, tarpaulin sheets, hygiene kits, basic household items and psychosocial support for children.

Your support will help rebuild lives.
