Real Gifts is a one-of-a-kind, crowd funding initiative of World Vision India designed to bring about economic and community development in villages and urban slums across India. It aims to bring people in need closer to people who can help them. Your support will provide livelihood assistance for poor families, education assistance for children, water resources for a village/ slum and contribute towards other needs across our country.

This crowd-funding platform enables people to come together to make change happen. Crowd-funding helps us pool funds from several donors to create a bigger impact.
Kindly note that the required donation amount is inclusive of the 12% overhead cost, with effect from June 2017.

Akai

Akai weaves bamboo stools in his kitchen. He is physically challenged but that doesn't stop him from being a source of encouragement to many around. "World Vision has helped me tremendously, from helping me regain my self-confidence to providing a wheelchair, without which, getting about was an immense task. I have everything to thank them for", says Akai from Mon, Nagaland.

Deepa

"I am very grateful to World Vision India for the support provided," says Deepa, a private school teacher from Perambalur. Deepa's father Muthu Kannan is a daily wage labourer and works hard in the fields to provide for his family. Deepa wanted to pursue a Diploma in Teacher Training. She was encouraged by World Vision India staff to continue her education and she received support through the Real Gifts programme.
